Its been a steep learnign curve, everything here takes way much longer than anywhere else I have ever worked and I thought Moscow was tough in 1999!?
Just have to strike a balance. Want to hit the ground running, though have to take into consideration that this is Africa. We have power cuts every single day which causes havoc on the roads, there is no air con, no internet and when you are up against deadlines its hard and not every place can afford to have a generator, which is not only costly its darn noisy!! ( And also very bad for the environment! )
